FIND FOOD RESOURCES, INSTANTLY.
FOOD INSECURITY IN THE US
1 in 8 people struggle to avoid hunger. Service providers lack food insecurity screening tools, and often rely on patients to self-disclose.
Service providers are often unable to find, tailor, or analyze supports, so they might offer grocery gift cards as solutions.
This uncoordinated, inefficient system costs the US $160 billion a year in treating food insecurity related illnesses.
OUR MISSION WITH FOOFII
FooFii's mission is to bridge hunger and help, with the click of a button.
Our mobile app will help health care and social service providers easily identify and support patients with food insecurity.
We are seeking partnerships to pilot our FooFii prototype in Greater Boston for 2019-20.
In MA, 1 in 10 people are food insecure. Providers will use a validated 2-question tool to identify patients who need help.
MAP LOCAL RESOURCES
Service providers can map resources for patients and tailor results by location, SNAP eligibility, and more.
Providers can connect patients to other social services and track their use of resources to inform their care.
